Care instructions for napped leather
Bags made of nubuck, suede, or lightly buffed leather require particularly gentle care to maintain their soft, velvety surface. A suede brush, a cleaning pad, a special suede cleaner, and a suitable waterproofing spray are best suited for this purpose. Regularly remove dust and loose dirt with a soft brush. For heavier soiling, an appropriate leather cleaner can be carefully applied with a sponge or cloth. After cleaning, waterproofing protects the material from moisture and dirt. Do not use leather creams, leather greases, or oil-based care products on napped leather, as these can gum up the surface or permanently alter its typical texture. Store the bag in a dry, airy place, protected from direct sunlight and heater warmth.
